At Sea Enroute to Zanzibar, Tanzania
We slept until 8 and went for a light breakfast. We went to a lecture on Vasco da Gama by an
Indian and we ready a lot. I’m working
on the Armistead Maupin book now! It’s
good. We had lunch by the pool – a
tandoori buffet – yummy! We ate with
Sandy and Arlene from Palm Beach and they talked for an hour about their
private chefs.
We went to the gym in the afternoon and did chest, arms, and
shoulders. I think Tim is trying to kill
me but it felt good to move about.
We read on the balcony and watched the flying fish flying
through the air – they go a LONG way.
Not many birds now, but the Indian Ocean is still very calm. I got most of the way through the Maupin
book.
We went to Observation Lounge at 7 pm to meet David W. Hicks
(his equity name) and Sophie who are the lead singers in the show. We had more fun. Dinner followed in the Compass Rose. We were the last to leave. Then we went back to the Observation Lounge
and met Nathan, Allan, Patricia, Paul, and Lucy – we closed the place down at
midnight. Tim overheard one of the other
passengers complaining that we were too rowdy and noisy! Do we have a Kranpus on board?
We went right to bed and it will be a short night as our
tour tomorrow in Zanzibar starts at 7:30 am!
