We decided to forego a tour today and elected to relax on
the ship. It is supposed to be in the
mid 90’s in Mumbai today. We had
breakfast on the pool deck and then went to the private area at the stern
outside the lounge and read for the morning.
It was quiet and relaxing. The
dry heat is helping my stuffy head somewhat.
We had lunch on the pool deck and then read, napped, had
coffee and relaxed for the afternoon. The
ship left Mumbai about 4 pm and we set sail for Goa, India.
We had drinks in the Observer Lounge (still all closed in to
obscure us from the pirates) with Paul and Patricia. We had reservations in one of the two
specialty restaurants – the French restaurant Signatures. It was delicious. I had escargot, a French fish soup, and a
veal dish – delicious. We went to the
theatre after to see about the mezzo soprano singer but a young boy was playing
a violin – very badly, so we left. Off
to bed since we need to get up early. A
relaxing day on the ship.
